Plywood is a wood-like material that is made by glueing together thin sheets of wood veneer. Sheets of veneer are layered with the grain running perpendicular to each other to improve strength and rigidity. The outer layers will always have the same grain direction. The most common adhesive used during manufacture is a weather-resistant phenolic resin.
What is Plywood used for?
Perfect for creating an eye-catching exhibition stand or a unique POS display, plywood can be printed on using a flatbed printer, resulting in each print being subtly unique to the different grains on the plywood surface. Alternatively, it can be vinyl mounted
Exten Opaque Polypropylene is an excellent environmental choice to the use of PVC for POS and display work, particularly that requiring two-side printing.
In addition to super opacity, Exten Opaque is fully primed both sides to improve ink adhesion and extend shelf life
